Wide Leg Pants and Safari Vibes

Is anyone else as excited as me that fall is around the corner? If you live in another part of the country where winters are harsh, then probably not (I grew up in Boston, I know the feeling) but if you are like me, and you live in a warmer climate like LA, fall signals major fashion fun, as opposed to freezing temps ahead. I love chunky knits, boots, jewel tones and the smell of their air as it changes and pumpkin patches start popping up everywhere. It is my absolute favorite time of year.

I’ve been looking at what’s ahead for fall fashion and the trends from the runways have me excited. One thing that you’ll be seeing is the wide leg pant. You may have thought this silhouette had been long forgotten but is now it is re-emerging! As it happens I had this pair I got last spring that I have been saving (for what, I don’t know) and now that I’m having fall fever, they seemed appropriate. This top I’ve had for awhile and is another piece I haven’t worn, but together with these pants I kind of love it.

PS. This grass with this top is giving me safari vibes and makes me want to jet to Africa and go on one immediately. Roar…
