If I had to choose only one accessory for the entire summer it would hands down be sunglasses. I will say, I am someone who has super sensitive eyes. Translation: I wear sunglasses even when it’s cloudy. But even if that’s not you, I think we can all agree they are a must have for summer. And during those months when the sun is blazing, I especially can’t leave home without them. The up side is a great pair of sunglasses can really make an outfit so why not have fun with them right? The best tip I can give you is to know the shapes that work for your face and then once you’ve got that figured out, just have fun! So what shapes are right for you? Figure out your face shape and then choose frames that create balance and proportion.
- Square face: look for round or oval shapes
- Round face: look for rectangle, geometric or cat eye shapes
- Oval face: look for deep frames
- Heart face: look for bottom heavy frames
I figured I would share some of my favorite new pairs that I will be wearing this summer. I got a fun mix of aviators, cat eyes, mirrored, prints and embellishments. Some are not typical for my face shape, but hey, rules were made to be broken right?
