We interrupt this regularly scheduled program to bring you the weekend.
It’s Friday! I know I said I was going to be talking all about spring trends for the next several weeks, but in celebration of the weekend I am declaring it casual Friday. I am keeping this ootd simple with some destroyed denim (which btw, is a huge spring trend) and a thin sweatshirt. I just dressed it up a little with a statement necklace and these tan pumps I’ve had forever. (They never go out of style and are surprisingly comfy.) The bag is the other part of the one I showed you here. It was a tote with this cool leopard cross body inside of it. A leopard cross body and a cute tote combo? I mean come on does it get better?
This weekend I am joining some friends in a garage sale. I’ve never done one before but they were already planning it and I have so much stuff I’d love to get rid of so I decided to join. A little spring cleaning if you will. I am looking forward to purging my house of things I forgot I had, but wow I had no idea how much work it was going to be! From figuring out what to sell to organizing by category, pricing things out and creating cute displays (lets not forget grad school and a blog,) I am in a bit over my head! I’ve been working on it little by little so I will hopefully be ready to go because apparently these things start at the crack of dawn.
The other thing on my agenda this weekend is FUN. I haven’t had any of that in awhile and it is well deserved. Not exactly sure what form it will take, but I will let you know how that and my garage sale experience goes next week, in the meantime, you can follow me on instagram!
