If you guys have been watching my youtube videos for awhile, then you already know that one of my favorite makeup brands is iT Cosmetics. The reason for this, is because to me, one of the most important elements in my makeup is flawless skin. I wasn’t born with it, so having great makeup, that allows me to achieve it, is key.

iT Cosmetics have some of the best skin enhancing products, thanks to the creative genius behind the brand, Jamie Kern Lima, who created the brand as a solution to her own severe rosacea. And who better to create amazing skin producing makeup, than someone who deals with skin issues herself!

My issues are redness, uneven skin tone and large pores, so the first product I tried from the brand was the Bye Bye Redness, which completely cancels out any and all redness anywhere on the body. I was so impressed with the product I started exploring more of their products. Years later, I am still a die hard user, particularly the CC+ foundation and the Bye Bye Pores Powder.

I have mentioned in several videos that I think the brand is one of the most underrated, under talked about out there, but now, they have teamed up with Sephora to create an exclusive collection of products that I think with get the the recognition I personally think they deserve.

Below are some of my favorites from both the Sephora collection and their regular line that I wanted to share my thoughts on, if you have skin issues are are looking for product that deal with them.

Skincare

Bye Bye Makeup (not pictured) makeup melting balms are on trend at the moment and lots of brands are coming up out with their own versions. iT’s version is absolutely amazing and will melt away even the hardest to remove stuff (hello House of Lashes glue!) in literally seconds.

Bye Bye Lines Serum: This anti aging face serum firms and smooths the skin, is super light weight and has a citrus scent. It’s great for all skin types, is paraben, sulphate, phthalates and cruelty free. It contains something they call’ Drops of Light Optical Blurring Technology™’ that improves the look of your skin while you are wearing it.

Bye Bye Under Eye Eye Cream:  This under eye cream is the answer to all your undereye concerns – it smooths, brightens and depuffs. Like the serum, it is great for all skin types and is is paraben, sulphate, phthalates and cruelty free. The cream has an exclusive dark shadow minimizing blue tint visibly lightens the darkest of eye circles, while hydrolyzed collagen, essential oils, and caffeine nourish and firm.

Confidence in a Cream: This super rich cream is of the most hydrating face cream forumlas I’ve ever tried. I use this for both day and night and it helps with fine lines and wrinkles, dryness and loss of firmness and elasticity. The proprietary antiaging armour regenerative concentrate™ it contains, combines collagen and hyaluronic acid to visibly plump fine lines and wrinkles,  niacin, peptides and a super ceramide complex, smooth texture, intensely hydrate, and enhance firmness. It too, is great for all skin types, paraben and sulphate free and also does not contain artificial fragrance which I’ve mentioned in previous posts, can be really harmful.

Makeup: Creams

Your Skin But Better CC+ Illumination: I have used and praised the original CC+ formula for over a year in my videos, because it is literally the best full coverage formula foundation you will likely ever use. It covers absolutely everything, yet feels so light weight and looks like you skin (but better!) It is both skincare and makeup rolled up into one and has 50+ SPF Coverage so it  also protects. They now have the Illumination version, which is great if you have dry skin. It gives the same great coverage with a nice duey glow. It is formulated with an anti-aging serum made of hydrolyzed collagen, peptides, vitamins, and antioxidants that work to visually diminish the look of wrinkles and pores for a more luminous, supple, and flawless-looking complexion. This stuff, both original and the Illumination, are game changing.

Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination:  Another full coverage product, this one is pretty thick so a VERY little, goes a long way. This concealer has an original version and now one with Illumination. Another two in one product, it helps minimize fine lines and wrinkles, while also providing major full coverage. It has what they are calling drops of light technology™ to cast a radiant, lit-from-within glow.

Anti-Aging Armour: Are you detecting a theme yet? I told you this brand is all about skin and I wasn’t kidding! This next product is pretty amazing. It is a mutli-tasking beauty fluid that evens skin tone, helps with dryness and texture, protects from the sun, blurs discoloration and imperfections, and comes in a universal color that adjusts to every skin tone. This can be worn alone, which is how I often use it on days I just need to run a few errands, and it can also be worn under makeup.

Bye Bye Pores Primer: There are a lot of pore blurring primers on the market, and I feel like I’ve tried them all, and so far, this one is the best. While no primer can really mask your pores, this one, in conjunction with the Bye Bye Pores Powders, does a great job at truly minimizing them.

Bye Bye Redness: As I mentioned above, this was the very first iT Product I ever tried and it blew my mind. It literally cancels out any and all redness anywhere you have it both on the face and the body. It can be used alone as a foundation or under makeup. If you suffer from redness, ditch your color correctors and try this…it will change everything.

Makeup: Powders

Your Skin But Better CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder:   I am still in the process of testing this product, but so far, like most other iT products, it’s mind blowing. This powder is a buildable sheer to medium coverage powder that airbrushes away imperfections. It’s talc free so it never settles into fine lines, and when testing, I applied over my CC+ foundation on one side of my face and kind of couldn’t believe how it looked. Let’s just say you will be using #nofilter on instagram after using this.

Bye Bye Pores Poreless Finish Airbrush Powder:  This is another product I talk about endlessly on my youtube channel. Single handely changes everything for those of us plagued with super sized pores. This works better than any pore minimizing primer in existence and it can also be used to set foundation and airbrush the face. I included this in my top 10 Holy Grail Makeup Products video, because it is literally one of the most effective pore minimizing products I’ve ever used.

Bye Bye Pores Poreless Finish Airbrush Pressed Powder:  So remember when I said the Bye Bye Pores loose powder was the most effective pore minimizing product I had ever used? Well it was, until the pressed version came out. I didn’t think I could love anything more than the loose version, until I tried this pressed version. If you have large pores, run, don’t walk, and get this…You’re welcome. 😉
