New Sweater x Weekend Wear

Well it’s finally here, the big holiday marathon, Christmas week followed by New Years week. I’m kind of happy it falls right smack in the middle of the week, it’s an excuse to take more days off right? (Who am I kidding, I hardly ever take a complete day off. I’m always working on stuff for you guys!) I am looking forward to Christmas eve, there is a neighborhood that really does it up with the lights and every year I go there and walk for blocks and see the most amazing displays. The kids sell hot cocoa and warm cookies and it’s just a really great way to get in the spirit.

Ok, so let’s talk fashion…

Yesterday was the first day of winter, which means it’s officially sweater season and I have been living in them lately. Though we have a bit of warm weather on the horizon in LA, it has been a bit chilly this last week, which is when I love to reach for a nice cozy sweater.

This sweater is new and I really love it. It has little dots sewn on that from a distance almost look like pearls but when you get up close, they are actually part of the fabric. Such a nice little touch. On the weekends, particularly during the day, I live in denim and getting dressed up consists of a sleek pump like this pair from Call it Spring. I love the python embossed silvery color and the pointy toe. This is probably my favorite pump that I own. As for the coat, I got this last year and I’ve worn it quite a bit here on the blog. It’s a classic and seriously, the best purchase ever (Zara semi annual sale!) The bag you’ve seen several times over the past few months. It’s so good, I just keep reaching for it.
