Sometimes in this stressful life, having a day of pampering is necessary. That’s why last week I decided to do just that. I had no special occasion I was getting ready for, I just wanted a good ole me day (Plus I really needed to get my nails done!) I popped into the Hermosa Beach location of Nail Garden, a new eco friendly nail spa, that offers nail treatments, waxing services and even blowouts. I love this place because the decor is so pretty and really does make you feel like you are in a garden. There is something really relaxing about it.
After checking out their menu I ended up getting the Indulgent Bliss Spa Combo, which was amazing. It included a hot paraffin wax treatment, which I had never had done. (I am a total nail girl, I get my nails done every few weeks, so how could I have not known about this?!) Basically they stuck my hands and feet in plastic bags of liquid that quickly solidified into a candle wax texture, then after sitting a few minutes, they slid the bags off and it literally felt like I had silky soft baby skin. Ah-MAZE. My feet were extremely dry from wearing sandals and this completely changed everything! Annie did my mani and as you can see she is fantastic, and Michelle did my pedi, and somehow made it ok to go posting pics of my feet, which normally I would never do! (The polish is Zoya but I can’t remember the color and my mani is acrylic with clear gel over my real nails)
After my nails were done I headed over to get a blowout and I walked out feeling relaxed and pretty. I posted an outfit last week with my hair the day it was done. You can check that out HERE.
