Fall is my favorite season for fashion and although the weather in LA isn’t exactly cooperating with my sartorial desires, I am finding it fun to create transitional looks that still work.
I am obsessed with this midi skirt! If I were going to NYFW this is definitely an outfit I would be wearing. Considering I am heading to London Fashion Week instead, I will be really focusing on layered minimalism, clean lines and outfits that are comfortable, yet chic. (Something like this, this and this) When traveling to Europe it’s important to keep a color theme to prevent from overpacking, so I will be doing neutrals that can be easily mixed and matched and lots of denim. (Also, more solids than patterns like this midi skirt.)
While I am really rather bummed not to be at NYFW, I am pretty busy prepping for London. I will be in Europe for close to a month playing the role of freelance foreign journalist and fashionista in London, followed by island explorer and lounging extraordinaire in Mykonos. I am starting to get excited now that I am leaving in less than a week! The last time I was in Europe was 2009, and traveling there are my favorite memories of my life. I’m looking forward to making more!
