Major Relief for Dry Eczema Prone Skin

During my recent trip to Arizona, my skin got mad. The air was extremely dry (a typical side affect of Arizona weather) and it resulted in a massive an eczema break out.

I have had eczema since infancy, and growing up in Boston, I was often plagued by it during seasonal weather changes. If you aren’t familiar with what eczema (a cousin of Psoriasis) is, in a nutshell, it is basically dry, irritated, flakey, rough patches of skin (that often itch) and spread (especially if you scratch) like wildfire if you don’t tend to them.

Whenever I had a break out I would have to go to the dermatologist to get special prescription cream that instantly made it go away. Aside from that, nothing would ever work.

Fast forward to living in Los Angeles, where the season changes are practically non-existant and the weather is mild, and I no longer have eczema issues. Until a few weeks ago.

Of course while traveling I had limited products with me, so I couldn’t wait to get home and when I did this Derma E Psorzema line was waiting for me! (In case you missed it, I’ve talked about my love for the Derma E brand here and here.)

It couldn’t have come at a better time, and I immediately opened the Psorzema Cream and slathered it on all of the patches (they were even on my face!) It was so soothing and instantly I could see the patches soften. Within a day my skin was 80% better. Derma E is a brand I have loved and trusted for years, but this was the first time I’ve seen my eczema improve without a prescription.

A little bit about these products, they are made with a blend of herbal extracts and skin vitamins such as Neem, Burdock, Bearberry and Vitamins A and E to help soften and soothe dry, irritated, scaling skin. They are 100% vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, mineral oil-free, lanolin-free, gluten free, GMO-free!

Also important to note (that I actually just learned) Psoriasis and Eczema usually have an internal component that needs to be addressed in order to resolve the condition completely. Derma E recommends working with a natural healthcare practitioner to help resolve this condition. There are many types of skin conditions, and what works for one individual may not work for others.exzemaDerma EDerma E exzemaexzema

I've been seeing a lot of blog posts on this product for eczema and it sounds great. I suffer from eczema and my dad from psoriasis, so this would be good to have in the house for both of us!

Yes it definitely helps calm things down a lot. My eczema flairs up due to the environment so it works well for me. I did still need prescription hydrocortisone to make it go away completely, but the comparison to the flair up before using the Derma E to after was amazing.
