Mad for Christmas Plaid

Happy Friday my loves! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas. I enjoyed taking a day to do a whole lot of nothing. All of my family lives on the east coast and since I didn’t travel back for the holidays, I spent a quiet day with my bf opening gifts, making dinner and watching the classic Christmas movies. It was nice to keep my computer off, stay off of social media and be in the moment.

I wore this outfit on Christmas eve and I have to say I am obsessed with this coat. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect plaid coat and this one is absolutely perfect. You just can’t go wrong with plaid anything in the winter, but the great thing about statement coats is you can wear them with a relatively simple outfit and they elevate the look. The chunky cable knit sweater is also a favorite, though it is basic, there’s something about it that totally reminds me of Christmas. I paired it with super dark denim and lace booties to play with textures. This neutral bag is great because it goes with everything, as does the gold bling.
