A few years ago I made the mistake of getting eyelash extensions. When I had them, they were amazing. I could go out without doing my eye makeup, I looked awake and pretty, no mascara was needed and it seriously cut down my get ready time. Sounds great right? It was, until it then it was time to take them off. What no one ever mentioned was that they weaken your natural lash (kind of like acrylic tips do to your nails) which caused my lashes to completely break off. So here I am, someone who really didn’t need eyelashes extensions, (on account of being blessed with long and think eyelashes naturally) but because I wanted to try this beauty trend, I was now lashless…
Needless to say, I have never, and will never do that again. But there are lots of occasions in which I want to have a bolder eye look, which is when I turn to good ole false eyelashes. If you are someone who likes to wear falsies a lot, you need to check out Lash Closet. It’s an online retailer that is all about lashes. They are basically a one stop shop, with a variety of volume and length options, adhesives and tools. They are really inexpensive (less than half the cost at a regular store) and even offer a subscription program to make your life easier.
Here are some of the lashes they sent me that I am really excited to use in some upcoming makeup tutorials. My absolute favorite are the Red Cherry Wispies!
If you try ordering from Lash Closet, leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
XO,
Hi!! Eyelash extensions, when properly applied, should NOT cause damage to your natural lashes. I am a certified lash tech and have had clients who have worn them for years, had to take a break for whatever reason and come back with their natural lashes in tact. I hate that you had a bad experience with them, because they aren't like that at all!

I hate that I had a bad experience too, because it was the worst 4 months ever!! I really loved having them, but losing my lashes was really traumatic! 🙁
