Over the Knee Boots

Happy Monday my loves! I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was jam packed with moving prep, including my least favorite part – packing. And because moving is pretty much the worst job on the planet, it’s typical your friends suddenly become ‘busy’ and fantasies of Sex in the City style packing parties are a pipe dream.

Luckily I did have a great friend come, roll up her sleeves and get after it. We got about half the house packed which was a great start. While there was no dancing around in dresses from the 80’s while she convinced me to keep or toss, there was a similar scenario over some kitchen items (Metal water bottles? Toss.) It’s amazing how having the extra help really helps knock it out so much faster. (There may or may not have been some wine involved as well.)

So basically since I was so busy with all of the moving stuff, I didn’t do much else this weekend. I had to run a few errands which is when I threw on this outfit. My version of casual chic. I’ve had these over the knee boots for quite awhile and I love them for throwing on with jeans to take an outfit up a notch. I just threw on my favorite pair of dark jeans, a plain white tee and this Asos faux leather moto with the strong shoulder detail. (There are no words to describe how much I love this jacket.) I also grabbed my go to bag these days and some simple gold jewelry.
