Jumpsuit Culottes

I used to think the phrase ‘dog days of summer’ sounded silly, but over the weekend I truly understood it’s meaning. It was really hot here in LA and I found myself torn between not wanting summer to end and beginning the countdown to fall. There is something so nostalgic about summer that there is a part of me that never wants it to end. But if I’m being honest, I am truly over the heat and ready for some crisp weather. (Is it wrong that I’m already fantasizing about pumpkin spice lattes?!)

I got this jumpsuit about a month ago and it just exudes a nautical vibe which felt appropriate to wear down to the marina. Culottes are really on trend but I often hear people say that they are intimidated by culottes because they are hard to style. This jumpsuit takes the guess work out because it’s a one and done situation (not to mention it’s really comfy!) I styled it here with my favorite pumps of the summer but I also like wearing it with a pair of Converse.
