I love a good glow, but not just on my face. There is something really healthy about a body glow. In the winter it’s not easy, my skin gets D-R-Y, which is why I amp up the oils. I’ve talked about face oils so many times you guys are probably sick of hearing me profess my love for them, so today I’m going to switch it up and tell you about my love for body oils k?
CRITERIA
There are specific things I look for in a body oil and one of them is that it absorbs quickly – I am not trying to look like a greasy rotisserie chicken over here. The other is that it makes my skin G-L-O-W. So the other day I was in Walmart and I came across the wet n wild MegaGlo Body Luminizer and I was intrigued. I mean it could’ve gone either way, either it was going to sit on top of my skin and get all over the place or it was going to absorb into the skin and leave me looking like a winter glow goddess. Either way, I figured with wet n wilds amazing price point it was worth a shot. And let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint.
#THATHIGHLIGHTTHOUGH
So the MegaGlo Body Luminizer comes in three shades: Heart of Rosegold, Gold Rush, and Invested in Bronze. What I love about it is it’s super lightweight and it’s buildable so you can layer it to the level of glow you want. It has micro-fine pearl pigments that create a luminous effect, and is also moisturizing with argan, macadamia, passionfruit seed, grapefruit seed, and sunflower seed oils. (yaaaas!)
And my FAVORITE: All shades are all cruelty-free, gluten-free, and paraben free; the Gold and Bronze shades are also vegan. MegaGlo Body Luminizers are available exclusively at Walmart and they are $9.93 – steal!
GET THAT HOLIDAY GLOW
I love to look bronzy all year long so I love the shade Invested in Bronze. It looks dark in the bottle but not super dark on the skin. It just gives a light sun kissed look. I think it’s perfect for holiday parties to add a little shimmer to your look.
Now I want to remind you that this is oil, so when the bottle is sitting there, you will see a separation of the oil and the color. This is normal. All you need to do is shake it up and it has a pump so I like to just use a small amount and slather it on everywhere. I then take a few more pumps and build it up on the areas I really want extra glow (my arms, décolletage, and if I’m wearing a dress, my legs!)
Also, if you have a beauty lover in your life, this makes an awesome stocking stuffer or swap gift.
So what do you think? Are you going to snag this on your next Walmart run? If so leave me a comment what shade you are gravitating to!
XO,
