Ideas to Steal: Living Room

So last week I told you that I was blindsided with the news that I have to leave my apartment of 6 years. I found out that the property management has decided to renovate so they can hike up the rent and apparently have no shame in tossing out the tenants. Times like this, I am glad there’s a little thing called Karma.

There is a silver lining, however. I found a new place, it’s twice as big, and (drumroll) I will have my own office! Right now my office is in the corner of my bedroom, but in the new space I will have my very own office/ dressing room/ beauty room. To say I am excited is an understatement. As I said the other day, sometimes life gives is the nudge we need to make changes that seem scary.

So now it’s time to for some MAJOR design inspiration. I’m taking to Pinterest to brainstorm some ideas and some of the room makeovers I was planning for my current space, I will be bringing to the new place and revealing after the move. In the meantime I will be posting some ideas to steal and you can follow along on instagram to see details of the process as I go.

As for this living room, I love how feminine and glam it is. The symmetrical benches are amazing and the neutral tones are pretty and not boring. I’m definitely obsessed with benches and poufs!
