I’ve had full brows for as long as I can remember. I used to hate it so much, that at one point early in my freshman year of college, I severely over plucked (Needless to say it was a complete disaster!) Every time I stumble upon pictures from that time period I cringe which is why since then I’ve been pretty gun shy when it comes to my brows.Thankfully bold brows are super on trend this fall and that’s good news for me. I’ve been secretly praying for the demise of the instagram brow since it first came on the scene. You know the one…completely perfect, every hair in place and ending with the super tapered tail. It’s a completely unattainable brow goal! But not to worry, you can have an amazing brow game without having the insta-brow.
In fact with the help of the brow goddess, Anastasia Beverly Hills and Ulta Beauty, I am going to talk you through everything you need to get the perfect (and natural looking) bold brows so you can be #BrowGameStrong
Products You Need:
- Brow Wiz: This is pretty much the best brow pencil on the planet. Use light strokes and you can create hair like lines. I do this on the tail only with the shade Dark Brown
- Brow Powder Duo : I use the Mini Duo Angled Spooley 7 brush to apply this powder to the front of the brow. I use the darker color to define the bottom part and then I flip the brush and with the lighter color I use short strokes to mimic hairs throughout the top and middle.
- Clear Brow Gel: Once my brows are filled in to my liking I use this gel to set them in place.
- Brow Duality Pencil: Finally to make things look a bit sharper, I take this pencil along the lower lashline. There’s a matte side and a shimmer side so you can use whichever suits your eye makeup look best.
