Lately I’ve been obsessed with editing my closet. Something about the change of season sends me into an organizing frenzy and I pick through, rearrange and get rid of things in order to make room for items on this season’s wish list.
This past week I have realized a trend in my closet. I have a tendency to wear certain items more often while neglecting some things that really deserve to be in rotation. There really doesn’t seem to be a good explanation for why, so I decided to do something about it.
Each month I am going to pick one item out of my closet that isn’t getting any love and I am going to make at least four outfits out of it. This months item: A white button down.
A white button down might seem like a strange choice, but honestly I have owned this blouse for several years now and I’ve only worn it about a dozen times. Seeing as this is a staple piece for every wardrobe I have decided that it’s a great place to start. At the end of each month I will do a recap.
{Blouse- Old Navy (old), Shorts- Juicy Couture, Wedges- Charles David, Bag – Balenciaga, Bracelet – Liquid Metal, Watch – Movado (boyfriend’s)}
Total side note, I was thinking I should’ve chosen these pink shorts (how cute are they?!), but since I have been wearing them to death that would defeat the purpose now wouldn’t it! 🙂
