You ever have one of those days where you just can’t get out of your own way? You have somewhere to be but you just can’t get it together and get out the door? That happened to me last week when I was headed to the SJP Event where Sarah Jessica Parker was launching her shoe collection. Eyeliner refused to go on straight, bad hair day, planned outfit didn’t look right, couldn’t find my keys…you know what I’m talking about right? It’s safe to say this outfit isn’t one of my favorites, but I threw it on and made it work, cause sometimes that’s what you have to do!
I got to cover the launch along with the girls from Who What Wear, who were doing a fun instagram documentary with SJP who is their guest editor this month. Sarah was so cute and every time she spoke it was like being in the room with my bff Carrie. The SJP Shoe Collection was exactly what I hoped for. SJP collaborated with Manolo Blahnik to make the perfect shoe recipe: One part Sarah Jessica Parker, a little Manolo with some Carrie Bradshaw sprinkled in. I found myself wondering why this didn’t happen sooner. You guys need to check these out!
