The texture of this top is so unique it reminds me of snow…or whipped cream. It was given to me by a friend and I thought wearing it a few days before Christmas seemed appropriate especially since there was no chance of a white Christmas in LA. But apparently there WAS a chance of an AMAZING Christmas! So let me fill you in on what happened…
There I am in my kitchen doing dishes the day after a very late girls night Holiday Soiree. My front door is open to let some fresh air in the house and my girlfriend is sitting on the couch just hanging out. Suddenly the screen door opens and someone walks in. I turn around and there stands my bf very matter of factly when all along he told me he wouldn’t be back from Iraq until January! I was beyond confused, excited, surprised….it was the best Christmas surprise I could’ve possible imagine! I jumped on him not knowing whether to laugh or cry. (Remember when I said goodbye?)
The next day we got on a plane to surprise his Mom. Christmas morning she rang the bell and we were standing there. You can imagine how happy she was! It has been a really great few days 🙂
He also informed me that he is whisking me to Vegas for New Years Eve…you know what that means…I need a new outfit!
