Holiday Cocktail Recipe

Every year during the holidays, I host a gathering with all of my girlfriends and every time we make amazing memories. Typically the festivities include a large spread of food and lots of wine. This year, however, I decided to do a signature cocktail. (There was still a large spread of food and lots of wine though!)

I have developed a love for the Moscow Mule as of late. I think this is a perfect cocktail for a holiday party so I decided to create a Moscow Mule bar with different garnishes, including muddled berries, candied ginger and lime. It was such a hit (and since it’s also great for Christmas Eve and/or Christmas Day) I wanted to share the basic recipe with you and how you can customize it however you want!

Basic Recipe

1 oz vodka

1 cup ginger beer (or to taste)

1/2 oz Lime Juice

Garnish

Other ways to customize: Muddled blueberries, raspberries, candied ginger, lime or to add a holiday touch, cranberry and rosemary garnish (pictured)

I love serving in a traditional copper mug, I got mine fromĀ Sur la Table.
