Gold Foil Jeans and My Favorite New Sneakers

I don’t wear flats often on this blog, but the truth is in real life I wear them all the time as I’m sure you all do too. It’s just not practical to always be running around in heels and any fashionista that tells you she does is lying. The real truth is we bring our flats with us and change in and out of them when need be. For me, it is important that flats be what I call an ‘outfit maker.’ Either a statement shoe like the leopard slip ons I wore here, or something unique and special like the ones I am wearing in these photos. At first glance they are just a white slip on, but upon closer examination you can see they are perforated white leather  which gives them some edge. Since I got these I have been wearing them non stop. The great thing about an ‘outfit maker’ flat is that you can wear it with looks you would normally wear with heels. This outfit would be great with a strappy sandal or even a pump, but as you can see it looks great with these slip ons too.

As for the rest of the outfit, this blouse is by Dex and it’s a faux wrap. It’s really flattering and looks good paired with just about anything. Here I paired it with gold foil jeans I also wore here. The gold foil is hard to capture in photos but in person it’s really cool. I added my favorite blazer by Elizabeth and James and leather baseball hat to keep the look casual. I’m seriously obsessed with gold accessories at the moment and this choker is amazing. It’s from Forever 21 if you can believe that, and it was given to me at their Coachella party I told you about here. I tried to find it online and I couldn’t so it’s either not out yet or it’s sold out. I gave you similar option at the bottom of the post.
