There are a lot of amazing new products at the drugstore lately, and I’ve teamed up with Maybelline to create this pretty gold eye look with their new 24karat Nudes Palette.
I am in love with the color options in this eye shadow palette! There are 12 shades of gold, bronze and copper (and that purple shade slays my life) with a great mix of mattes and shimmers to create so many looks for both day and night. I decided to stick to neutrals and add a pop of the shimmery gold shade to add a little glam. Scroll down to see how to get the look!
Shadow:
- First I used the matte ivory shade and applied that from the lash line to brow bone to set my eyelid primer.
- I then went in to the chocolate brown shade and a blending brush and applied this to the crease using windshield wiper motions.
- With a shader brush, I went into the shimmery gold shade, then I sprayed the brush with some setting spray and applied it to the lid. Wetting the shadow will intensify the color and make the look really pop.
Liner:
Using the Maybelline Eye Studio Master Precise Liquid Eye Liner, I drew a wing starting at the outter corner and then connecting it to my lash line and filling it in. I love this pen because it is super black and has a nice hyper sharp 0.4mm tip, which gives full control making winged liner much easier. It also doesn’t smudge or skip and lasts a long time.
Mascara:
Lastly I coated my lashes with the new Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Mascara. This was my first time trying this mascara and I was really impressed by it! It gave my lashes both volume and length with a collagen-fueled formula that is long lasting and rivaled some of my favorite higher end brands. I highly recommend checking this one out for a more affordable option!
