There are certain products that become cult favorites – you know the ones EVERYONE talks about, not just when they launch, but far long after. The Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara is one of them, and for good reason. I actually tried this only recently and was definitely in agreement that it’s a great mascara.
The one downside, is the price. I am a big drugstore mascara girl. There are certain things the drugstore excels at and mascara is a big one. And who doesn’t love saving money?
AFFORDABLE FOR THE WIN
Recently I tried a new release from COVERGIRL – their Exhibitionist Mascara and I was like instantly reminded of the TooFaced higher end one. The result is almost exact, the wands are eerily similar…and the price tag is not.
For $8 you get all of the lengthening and volume at a fraction of the price. There’s no flaking, no transfer and no clumping! COVERGIRL keeps releasing some pretty amazing products and this one is currently at the top pf my list.

When the CMO Ukonwa Ojo was a guest on the podcast, she said you can put literally 100 coats of this stuff on and it won’t clump. (And she challenges us to do so!) I’ll take her word for it, but for me the savings, quality and performance have me completely convinced!
