As I say all the time, there is nothing I love more than the marriage of edge and glam. Finding ways to put the two together makes getting dressed so much fun. In this outfit I took one part bling, one part skulls, added a fierce heel and voila! An edgy glam look that works for a variety of occasions. I wore this look on date night but it would also work for a night out with girlfriends. This look is proof that dresses with skulls can be super chic, it’s all in how you style them. I will admit this dress made it easy. I am actually wearing it backwards. The skulls were meant to be on the back but I really felt like they were better suited for the front. I love billowy dresses for warm weather days and this one could be worn with flat sandals or even as a cover up at the beach.
Speaking of the beach, I can’t believe summer is right around the corner! (I know I keep saying that, but really I can’t!) I went to the beach this weekend (ok, so it’s a mile down the street but still) and walked around. It made me excited for summer days. I actually got a new swimsuit that I posted on instagram last week that has glittery skulls on it. Not only can dresses with skulls be chic, but bikinis with skulls can be chic too! I’m excited to wear it and I will be giving you more details about it later in the week.
