Sometimes stepping out of your comfort zone is liberating. I like layers, but I’ve always leaned toward fitted silhouettes because it’s more flattering for my small waist and wide hips. I always say it’s important to know your body type, but it’s also fun when you step outside what feels comfortable and try something different.
The dress over jeans trend was something I never felt comfortable with. Why would I want to add bulk? But something happened the other day and I thought you know what? Why not? I had a ton of errands to run and so this outfit happened.
I got this dress last year in time for Coachella and wore it much differently. This time I threw it over my favorite jeans at the moment and added these rediscovered booties. That’s one great thing about moving, you find stuff you forgot you had! I haven’t worn these shoes in awhile, but I am loving that they are back in the rotation.
