DIY Marble Tray

One of my favorite things about my addiction to Pinterest is it never ceases to inspire me. I love that it’s a community of people sharing ideas. I am not a DIY queen, but I do like to take on projects that are relatively simple. When I came across this one, I knew it was something I could do with ease and it would be a fantastic addition to my new bar cart.

The first thing I did was head to Home Depot to pick up the supplies: A marble slab, some drawer handles, felt pads and industrial glue. (All the materials cost less than $10!) I used a measuring tape to figure out where the handle would be centered, placed the glue on the bottom of the handle and pressed it on. Once that was dry I peeled the stickers off the felt pads and applied them to the bottom four corners. Et Voila! I mean does it get easier?!

What I love about this is it looks expensive, but it’s so cheap! You can use it as a perfume tray, a cheese board or for cocktails. What do you guys think?
