Dear Pink: I neon heart you

I have an overwhelming amount of neutral clothing in my closet because I tend to gravitate toward black and white as well a pieces that go with everything. I feel like I am getting better about incorporating some color in but there are some colors you’ll definitely find more than others and pink is one of them. I’m not sure why, because I am not into overly feminine pieces, but for some reason I have a thing for pink. (The other color I have a lot of is blue.) As a general rule I lean towards cool shades and when it comes to pink, I really like the bright bold neons that are perfect for summer.

I took the aztec print of this tank as the perfect opportunity to play with some pink accessories, including this clutch I got a Lucky Fabb and these sandals I got last year. I paired them with my favorite boyfriend jeans and of course the jewelry pieces that I have had on repeat since the day I got them. (You may be sick of seeing them, but I can’t help it, when you love something, why fight it?) Though I rarely do a bold lip I couldn’t resist tying the look together with my favorite neon shade by Nars. It’s one of those lip shades that even when you are feeling like crap, you put it on and you instantly feel better. (Don’t believe me? Try it! Instant mood lift I swear!)
