Color Swap Part 2

I showed you here my adventures in leather dye. After having success with the bags I decided to do shoes and a few clutches that I rarely if ever use.

This clutch is synthetic leather. It was a metallic gold I got at Forever21 years ago. I haven’t used it in probably 5 years. Because it’s synthetic it takes MANY coats (and hours) to get it right (but this teal is so worth it don’t you think?!) I’ve already used it twice!

This is a vintage leather clutch I got several years ago on ebay. I’ve used it here here and here but it’s been awhile so I decided it needed a brighter pink face lift for spring.

These shoes I got at an auction last year. I’ve never worn them because to me they looked like stripper shoes (The reason I have them is there were two other pair that were with them that I had to have.) I figured with a bright girly color change they could be more glam, less stripper. Mission accomplished!

These leather ballet flats are by Clarks. I am not usually fond their styles but I have a friend who works for them and they have a fantastic built in support system that’s great if you have back issues and are on your feet a lot. I mostly got them to stomp around Europe but I was really over them. So I thought a serious color swap could change everything. Boy was I right. I am in love!!

For some reason I can’t find the before pic on these but they are also from Clarks and the leather was a Metallic silver color. I am absolutely loving them this fun bright pink!

This project was so fun and saved me a ton on buying new spring shoes and bags! I will be wearing them in future outfit posts so stay tuned! 🙂
