One thing I do religiously, is take supplements. It’s one important part of my overall wellness that I rarely talk about, so today I am partnering with Doctor’s Best®, a brand I’ve used for years, to talk about it.
One of the things I’ve noticed along my fitness journey, is the results I get when I am taking supplements vs. when I’m not. When I do, I always find I have more energy and my body is overall just operating better. I’ve experimented with both and I always can tell the difference.
Now taking supplements has become part of my daily routine. I have designated times of day that I take them (usually in the morning with breakfast) so that way it becomes habit and I never forget. Life can get hectic so if you are someone who forgets, this will definitely help.
Some important supplements to note are Omega+DHA for heart, brain, joints, Vitamin C immune system, Melatonin for sleep, Biotin for healthy hair, skin & nails, Elderberry for colds, Lutein for eye health and Melatonin for sleep.
Sometimes, it can get hard to take a bunch of pills and I get it. I know my mom has issues with this. She’s constantly looking for a multi-vitamin that has everything she needs, which can be hard. A lot of multi’s don’t have enough of the recommended daily amounts in them to get enough benefits and taking them separately will yield a much better result.
So rather than take a bunch of pills, Doctor’s Best has created some of their supplements in a gummy form which makes them so much easier to take. The gummies are still in line with their core of Science-Based Nutrition and they made them delicious with Natural Fruit Pectin. They are also Vegan, Gelatin Free and Gluten Free.
I’ve been using these for almost a month and I really love them. I find myself looking forward to the ‘treat’ which also helps me to remember.
